All his life all Salvador wanted was to be successful, that was all. He grew up poor like most of his people. If you were born in to a poor family in any south American country you usually stayed poor. That is why he took the job in Chicago. He took the job on blind faith. He was approached by an individual in a gray mask. That should have tipped him of that this job was going to introduce him to things he never wanted to experience. The problem was that the money was too good to be true. The money came just like they promised too. The problem was that his heart grew as dark as his bank account grew large. Salvador was not his real name. Everyone who became a member of the green dragons took a number and left there name on the floor. When you achieved a rank you took a code name so you could be recognized from the plan foot solders. When he reached the rank of grand captain in the green dragon crime corporation. He thought it was ironic that he would call himself a savior when he was really not saving anyone. Instead of saving he was damming people to death or a heart as black as his.
It had been ten years since he was a young 18 year old new to the city. Now he had been places and done things he would never have dreamed up. Not even in his worst nightmare. Not only had he seen some of the worlds most beautiful places and romanced some of the worlds most beautiful women. He had a lot of innocent blood on his hands also. Blood from both the innocent and the not so innocent. Blood that belong to people from all over the world. Not only had Salvador killed hundreds he had also enlisted young men and women to do the same. Because of him he had seen the green dragons grow in leaps and bounds. Know he was on the edge of taking control of an entire market. Or so he thought. That was until about 2 years ago when jade. The dragon commander had come back to the states with the grand council. Chicago was going t be his. That was what he was promised. Now he was striped of his power because jade wanted to move the head of the operation form Hong Kong to Chicago. With Hong Kong belong to the British the heat was to much. The American government had no clue who the green dragon were. They had started in Japan. And still had several assets in the country. When jades father took over the green dragons. They moved there main head quarters to Hong Kong. With an office in Tokyo and an office in London and one in Chicago. When Salvador made grand captain he was promised the head of the city. With jade here. All the power was now with him and with jade and the council. He was really nothing. Jade promised him a seat on the council. As an equal. When they moved from the orient. That did not happen. Salvador was put on little mission to out of the way places. Or put in charge of facilities like this one that were unknown and unneeded.
This facility was so unnessary. It was a information processing plant. It held about a million dollors worth of computer and other electronic equipment. The staf was several scientist and some armed guards. He had visted this facility several times to see what was there purpose. He was so curious why you would take an old factory and spend money to make it a sate of the art facility. The security messures were not top of the line. They did not need to be. The front gate had an old push button gate mechenisum with two hidden camras on each side. The fence had barbed wire on top and a a 8 foot dich on the inside. It had no large locks or seen cameras. That would have seemed to conspicuous. The key lock was good enough security for the gate. No one could get a copy of the key. He knew that ozone knew he was there yet. So he made sure the black boxes were in the right place. He then walked back to his car and put the almost empty bag on his car hood as he grabbed the second bag and took another deep breath. He stepped up to the door and inserted his key. A monitor came out of a hidden slot. A black masked figure came on the screen and a raspy voice spoke over the intercom.
“captain Salvador. We did not expect you for another two days sir. This is a surprise. “
“I know 423, but things have changed and I needed to move up my visit. I have an important meeting with the council in a couple of days.”
The voice was silent then after a few mintuies it came back on.
“that is a confermation on the change in schedual. We have been updating the net work, it looks like we had not recived you schedule visit till this morning, sorry for the unconvince sir.”
“that is ok,423, we have to go by the system.”
“yes sir, the system will uphold and the green dragon will endure.”
“yes” Salvador thought” the green dragon will endure.”
